Awards and recognition: Anna Malan Jógvansdóttir won the prestigious National Cultural Prize for young talents in 2016 and the EBBA Award in 2020.

Bio: Anna Malan Jógvansdóttir made her debut in 2015 with the poetry collection “Undirfloyma”. In 2017 she was one of the few selected students to be admitted into the Danish Author’s Academy (Forfatterskolen), and her second poetry collection “Korallbruni” was also in 2017. Anna Malan has just released her debut novel “Psykodrotningin sigur frá” which is a semi-biographical hybrid novel with a mix of poems, diary notes, prose and illustrations all made by the author herself. The novel won her the EBBA Award 2020.
