Sólrun Michelsen’s first book, Argjafrensar, was a children’s book published in 1994, and since then she has written both children’s literature as well as poetry and a number of short stories. In 2004 she published her first book for adults, Tema við slankum, for which she was awarded the Faroese M.A. Jacobsen Literary Award. Her latest publication is the novel Hinumegin er mars.
