A searching and deeply reflective poetry collection about memory, identity, and the stories we tell to understand ourselves.

In I Write on Wet Paper, Lív Maria Róadóttir Jæger explores the act of writing as a way of understanding relationships, memory, and the self. Moving between childhood, adolescence, and adulthood, the poems examine how our identities are shaped through encounters with others and through the stories we inherit, remember, and reinvent.

Marked by linguistic precision and emotional intelligence, the collection unfolds across eight interconnected sections, combining intimate observation with intellectual curiosity. The result is a thoughtful and emotionally resonant work that reflects on what it means to be both an individual and part of a larger human community.
