A powerful and deeply humane novel about love, loss, and learning to live in the aftermath of grief.
When his spouse is diagnosed with brain cancer, life is gradually transformed by illness, caregiving, and the certainty of an approaching loss. Yet this is not only a story about death. It is also a story about the one who remains: about grief, memory, resilience, and the difficult task of rebuilding a life after loss.
Written with honesty, emotional precision, and compassion, Not Until Then offers a moving portrayal of love tested by illness and of the enduring bonds that remain after death.
