New Literary Coordinator

After a wonderful period at FarLit, I am resigning from my position as Literary Coordinator to work in marketing at a children's publishing house.

Working at FarLit has been a great opportunity to engage with literature in many different ways and to collaborate with so many talented and inspiring people, both in the Faroe Islands and internationally. I am grateful for the experiences, partnerships, and friendships I have gained during my time here, and I will look back on our collaboration with great appreciation.

I am pleased to introduce my successor, Olivia Døgg Fríðfinsdóttir, who will continue FarLit's work and relationships going forward. Olivia holds an MA in Experience Economy from Aarhus University. For the past seven years, she has worked with digital communications and marketing at Visit Faroe Islands. Her first assignment with FarLit will be participation in the Frankfurt Book Fair on 7-9 October, where FarLit is part of the joint Nordic stand. Olivia will begin her position at FarLit on 1 October. From that date, she can be reached at: olivia@farlit.fo
