A Faroese First: Vónbjørt Vang Featured on Danish Radio’s Prestigious “Skønlitteratur på P1”

In March, Vónbjørt Vang and Kim Simonsen appeared as guests on Danish Radio’s prestigious literary program Skønlitteratur på P1, where they explored the central themes of Vang’s poetry collection and reflected on emerging tendencies in contemporary Faroese literature.

Vónbjørt Vang was awarded the Nordic Council Literature Prize in 2025, becoming the first Faroese recipient in nearly forty years.
