New in Denmark
"Ikki fyrr enn tá" - the award winning novel by Oddfríður Marni Rasmussen - will be published in Denmark tomorrow, 3rd July by Forlaget Torgard with the title "Først når...". The novel won first prize in the Faroese novel competition in 2018 and was published by Sprotin in 2019. Earlier this year it was announced that it's the Faroese nominee for the Nordic Council Literature Prize 2020. The novel is a moving, sad, honest and optimistic story about a man losing his spouse to brain cancer.
