Steintór Rasmussen released his debut crime novel "Deyðin fer í bindiklubb" ("Death joins the knitting-club") by Steintór Rasmussen was published in 2016. It was the first of five novels in a series about six women from a small Faroese town of Norvik, who have known each other since childhood, and meet regularly to knit together and discuss the latest events. In this first novel a 42 year old man is found dead in an old house in a Faroese village. This is the main piece of gossip when six women meet at Anita's knitting-club later in the evening. Little do they know that they are in fact part of the whole mystery. The novel has now been published in Russia by the Publishing House Gorodets and is part of their Scandinavian series. Andrei Melnikov has translated from Faroese into Russian.
