Rúnaspá is the title of Ingun Christensen’s new young adult novel. The title translates to rune prophecy. It is the story of 14 year old Saga, who has to go on a dangerous quest vith her wolf Skinnhvíti.

Saga has silver hair and a scar in the shape of a drop on her forehead. She has lived with Karis the runereader for eight years and no one knows what happened in the first six years of her life. In a vision Saga sees a shieldmaiden with sword and shied. Saga has only met her once before, but knows that they er bound by blood. Thyra Silfralitta died in the great war in the south, and Saga promises to bring her bones back to the North Country. Karis the runereader predicts that it will be a dangerous journey.

Rúnaspá It is the first book in a a fantasy trilogy called Snjómánafólkið, which translates to snowmoon people. It is published by BFL.
