New in North Macedonia

North Macedonian publisher Prozart Media has published the Faroese children’s book Eg vil eisini! in a Macedonian translation by Marija Trajkoska. Eg vil eisini! is children’s author Guðrið H. Jacobsen’s debut children’s book and was originally published in the Faroe Islands by publishing house Bókadeild Føroya Lærarafelags. Henny Dánialsdóttir illustrated the book.

The story is about a monkey and an elephant, who want what the other has. The elephant wants to swing in the trees like the monkey, and the monkey wants to spray water like the elephant. Eg vil eisini! is a sweet and funny story about figuring out that we are all unique in our own way.

Prozart Media has previously published books from the Luddi & Lundisa series by Vár Berghamar Jacobsen in Macedonian.
