NEWS FROM ODDFRÍÐUR MARNI RASMUSSEN

Author Oddfríður Marni Rasmussen has released a new collection of poetry and photography entitled Skorpur (English: Crusts). This marks his 23rd poetry compilation, comprising 55 poems accompanied by 12 black-and-white photographs.

The poems are short and often lyrical. Some of the poems are narrative. The collection is about still being here and scraping one’s way up through crusts or digging oneself under different types of crusts.

Crusts can be many things. They can be the peels of an apple, the crust between reality and dreams, between heaven and earth, between seasons and weather, between ocean and beach, between people.
